Dr Andrea Atkinson

Andrea Atkinson was born in Zimbabwe and moved to Perth to complete high school and university. After graduating from the University of Western Australia she completed a Diploma of Tropical Medicine in Liverpool before returning to Western Australia to complete her Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital. Andrea then completed two assignments with Médecins Sans Frontières, in South Sudan and Libya, before commencing specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is currently undertaking a fellowship in Reproductive Infectious Diseases through the University of British Columbia and plans to return to Western Australia in 2023.
